Tonight I had meant to send out virtual gifts especially the freebie one to everybody but found out to my woe that it was gone. I had wanted to send everybody my greetings for the holidays with one of those snowflake cookies that looked real nice.

And so, I'm wishing all my LJ friends happy holidays and thank you all for friending me and giving me permission to stalk your journals although I haven't been very active in a while in LJ but I'm making effort to change that You guys are all wonderful ♥

    <lj:music>Simple and Clean - Utada Hikaru</lj:music>

I am finally going to continue my studies. It's just for a year of vocational training in Nursing. My first day is tomorrow and I'm kinda nervous and anxious, it's been two years since I graduated from high school with no continuing education within those years. This school that I enrolled to actually has started their classes a week ago, so now I have to do double study to make up for the stuff I missed. Which means I have less time for being online doing fandomy stuff. ಥ_ಥ No matter, I will manage. Procrastinators have their ways.

    <lj:music>To Love You More - Celine Dion</lj:music>

So. My mom and I got back here in California a few days ago. I feel tired and sleepy and just plain lazy right now. So many things happened during our one month stay in the Philippines and I'm not sure I could recount and put them all into writing.

Now that I've had my vacation, it's time to work on school matters and get my enrollment started. Hopefully the school I've got my eye on still accepts students.

    <lj:music>My Pace - Sunset Swish</lj:music>

I've been catching up on a few manga that I've previously left off for a while. Beware the spoilers.

Kobato. drop 6b: It's been a while since I read Kobato. that I had to go back the previous chapter to reacquaint myself with the current events. This half of the chapter really shows how kind Kobato is. I couldn't help sharing her pain when I saw her tear-streaked face. And, Fujimoto to the rescue! It seems that these two are building a good relationship.

Naruto 411: <del>THE COVER!</del> Haha, the eight-tails has the most interesting personality among the Jinchuuriki bar Naruto; I hope he sticks around for a bit. I don't believe for one second that Sasuke's going to die like the last page seems to imply. How many times did Sasuke 'die' in his previous battles anyway? Kishimoto will of course make his favorite boy pull out a genjutsu or a new jutsu out of his ass to get himself out of danger. Geez, I know Sasuke's not supposed to die anytime soon, but I'd really like to see him get beat up for once. He's getting too cocky. You'd think that the guilt of killing his brother would humble him. Anyway, I'd really like to see more of Naruto's sage training--wonder how that will go?

EDIT: Oh, oh, I forgot to mention--Konoha Gakuen HS special: More, please?

I feel good today, had a good breakfast for a change. Lately I've been scrounging in the fridge for breakfast, but today I cooked an omelet with mushrooms, onions, and cheese. After that, I have a lot of time to re-read Tasogare no Kishi, Akatsuki no Sora and watch anime episodes of 12k. And the weather's nice too, not too hot like it's been last week. Celine, have you been very busy lately? If not, there's a very good novel I'd like you to read.

<lj:music>Anata Dake no Wonderland - CLAMP in Wonderland</lj:music>

Am making a late night post. Celine, this is for you since I told you you should post more in your journal, this is just me setting an example.

I just finished watching Sweet Home Alabama starring Reese Witherspoon and Josh Lucas. I caught a snippet of this movie years ago while I was surfing through channels but I wasn't able to watch the rest. The movie had enough romance in it that would make you smile, but not too much that would choke a horse. Celine, I'm not too sure if my memory serves me right, but wasn't it you who told me about this movie?

On other stuff: Dear CLAMP, I left off TRC ever since Fai's backstory because I got enough of the crazy and lame. But then flist alerted me to your latest blunder. I know that being over-the-top is your forte, but seriously, this induced brain-breakage of the WTFery kind. Now I'm afraid of what you guys would actually come up to resolve the issue between Seishirou and Subaru--please spare us the horror and get your act together. And I realize my music of the moment is in contradiction with my feelings for CLAMP atm but the song came on just as I was typing. LOL

There, see, I did my job, now it's your turn Celine.

Wee! I now have a new series to lose sleep over!

Discovered Clover by CLAMP a few days ago. Been hearing about it quite a while actually, but it hasn't been until recently that I decided to give it a go. I fell in love right up from Volume 1.

And so, I also have a new shiny pairing to support and possibly worship to OTPness---Gingetsu/Ran. Seishirou/Subaru still comes in number one of course, but Gingetsu/Ran is coming second. Unfortunately, Clover fandom is quite obscure with little fics and icons here and there. BUT I will continue to hold out for CLAMP to pick up on where they left off with Clover <del> Gohou Drug X/1999 </del> and hopefully when that time comes, the fandom will revive.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles: Manga Seishirou vs. Anime Seishirou

Was surfing through the net yesterday when I came across a screenshot of Seishirou from the anime adaptation of TRC. I looked through more screenshots and decided that I'll most probably swear off the anime version forever. Anime Seishirou didn't do enough justice to the Manga Seishirou. The ears were too big, his right eye seem to be working, and his voice is BLAH.

I don't think I'll even consider waiting for their version of Subaru should the anime go so far as Chapter 124. ::shakes head::

Anyway, I'll just hope for more Seishirou appearances in later chapters. CLAMP's still holding out on Seishirou and Subaru's history...
